It’s nicely situated on an isolated part of a peninsula with private beach access. This is a charming little resort with a lot of potential, and is unfortunately not maintained to the level it could be. The cleaning ladies were always busy doing something too. All because George wouldn’t have it any other way. And the main reason I believe this is the way it is. All the young men bartenders/ waiters / table clearers everyone was 100 percent on their game. The chef was out with smiles every morning early making sure that all guests were being taken care of. Breakfast in the morning ( included) was delicious. The room / was yes small but very comfortable and accommodating for our 5 days. From the time Claudiana greeted us with her smile and giggles followed shortly by Eero. The weather was cold and windy so we did not get to take advantage of the beach as we had hoped to which leaves us longing to come back soon! We miss you ALL! Thank you SOOO much for the beautiful stay. The beach and grounds outside were well maintained and very beautiful. If you are looking for 5 star accommodations this may not be for you but if you are looking for a super charming, bed and breakfast atmosphere with clean accommodations you will love this place. The location is great just a short 10 minute or less walk to the town center and about 2 minutes walk from a beautiful winery where you can do tastings. He shared with us some history, important sites and even brought us a sample of the wine that he had made. He is the sweetest man and very passionate and knowledgeable about the island.

Stelios their driver was a complete enhancement to our trip. She arranged laundry service for us, a tour of the island (off season and short notice) and was just really the most friendly and outstanding person.

George the owner was so friendly and gave us our first experience with Suma (?) a liquor that is made from the skin of grapes after processing wine (I think) Daria at the bar was so sweet and the staff at breakfast (which was amazing) were very kind. We came as guests and left feeling like we were family. My daughter and I stayed at the Kalypso and it was the most charming place with excellent service.
